WELCOME TO THE BASICS SERIES!
The Basics Series is for people new to Yoga and newcomers to the Iyengar Method. Everyone is welcome!
We teach the asana (poses) in a way that allows you to steadily develop strength, stability, mobility and confidence in your yoga practice. Precise instructions, props and variations allow students of all ages and abilities to practice safely and light-heartedly.
Classes will cover a full range of basic poses that will prepare you for any of our Fundamental Iyengar classes. Poses include standing and seated poses, forward, lateral and back extensions, twists, abdominal poses, inversions and restoratives.
The Basics Series consists of one 60-minute class per week for eight consecutive weeks. Classes are taught both In-studio and Virtually.
